The Korean food company Daesang and Enzymotec, Migdal HaEmeq, Israel, have signed an agreement to jointly develop oil-based applications based on Enzymotec’s MultOil. Daesang intends to use Enzymotec’s canola-based MultOil for a cholesterol-lowering product line, including cooking oil and mayonnaise products, set to launch early next year. The agreement covers the development and supply of a specific grade of MultOil for the use of Daesang in its new product line and also includes guidelines for future relations between the two companies.
